Considering cupcakes for your reception but don’t like the look of the liner? Well, first, consider, there are many more elegant designs on cupcake liners besides the pastel numbers that come standard in the grocery store. But if you want to forgo the paper altogether, here are a couple of ideas for elegant wedding cupcakes sans cupcake liner.

1. Use the same frosting on the sides of the cupcake as well as on top.

2.  Or for a smoother look, cover each cupcake in fondant.

3. Try a pretty, specialty cupcake holder.  You can order Cupcake Cuddlers for instance, then just drop the cupcake in.
